When LG unveiled their G4 Stylus device last year, the world was very intrigued by it and so, it led to the planning and development of another device that comes with a stylus for better and more accurate performance. Today, that planning and development has shone through in the announcement of the LG Stylus 2.
The device has been announced before the much awaited event that is set to take place this month; the Mobile World Congress 2016, and further and in-depth details of the device will be released later but LG has already given us quite a bit to run on in the latest smartphone news and it looks like the Stylus 2 will be an eye-catcher just like its predecessor. Obviously, the stand out point of the device is it’s built in stylus and although it cannot be compared to the powerful Samsung S-Pen or the Apple Pencil, LG is proud to say that their device comes with a nano-coated tip (which provides greater accuracy) and not the ordinary rubberized tip that is found on other styluses.
Specifications on the LG Stylus 2
The device comes with a rather big 5.7 inch HD display that has a resolution of 720p and offers some very intricate viewing experiences. A Quad Core processor is found on the inside which provides speed like no other at 1.2GHz. The 1.5GB RAM coupled with a 16GB internal storage that can be expanded further through a microSD card. Photography on the device will be a pleasure thanks to its 13 megapixel primary camera that comes with autofocus and LED flash. Shooting selfies will also be a breeze with the 8 megapixel secondary camera. The Stylus 2 will support LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other connectivity options like quite a few of the recent smartphones available in the market now. Running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the LG Stylus will bring unlimited customization options to the user.
Some of the features that come with the stylus on the Stylus 2 are Pen Pop which gives users special shortcuts when it is removed and Pen Keeper which can notify the user when they are leaving the stylus behind. There will also be quite a number of applications that will encourage the use of the stylus along with some other 3rd party applications.
According to the specifications and rumors going around, the LG Stylus 2 should be targeted at the budget friendly audience and with its upgraded stylus and Android Marshmallow OS, it will definitely catch the eyes of people everywhere.
